Saksham is a non-profitable, charitable trust, working in ways that we can, towards an equitable society.

We, at Saksham , believe that progress and development of any society can strictly be gauged only in terms of the equality of opportunity it provides to all sections of citizens, irrespective of class, gender or status.

Present Projects

In Nithari we started with the limited intention of bringing minimum literacy to those children of this community who had missed the opportunity of going to school and was beginning to adopt vagrancy as a way of life.

We are now running an informal school in hired premises in two shifts with an enrolment of around 350 children who have been organized into classes, based on their level of learning.
